Customer Service - Level 2 and 3

Do you work as an administrator and have a lot of experience but no qualifications to show for it?

This qualification is suitable for anyone working in an administration environment. It evidences work you can already do and encourages you to think about what you do, and how you can improve yourself and your working practices. There are lots of admin related units to match your job requirements. As an administrator's role can be so varied this qualification also includes some customer service and IT related units.

Optional units at Levels 1, 2 and 3 can be selected applying to both Level 2 and 3 NVQs, as part of the QCF (Qualification Credit Framework) qualification. Please call or email us for more information. To see the full list of units then click on the datasheet below.

As part of the Apprenticeship you will be required to complete the Technical Certificate in Principles of Business & Administration. This certificate is made up of about 6 short multiple choice exams. The Tech Cert Datasheet lists all the units that can be chosen as part of the technical certificate which helps if you need to build your knowledge up in any given area of your role.

ITQ - Level 2 and 3

ITQ is an NVQ for people who use IT in their work. It provides an up to date, nationally recognised qualification. Subjects can be chosen that are relevent to your job, giving you the skills that you need in a modern workplace.

Retail Skills - Level 2

If you currently work within the retail industry then completing an NVQ in Retail may be what you need to prove your competence. This qualification has a vast amount of units to tailor each individuals workplace and knowledge such as; “finishing meat products by hand” to “providing services to customers in the dressing room” or even “process payments for purchases” to “follow point of sale procedures for age-restricted products”. As part of the Apprenticeship you will be required to complete the Certificate in Retail Knowledge at Level 2. This is a knowledge based exam consisting of 10 multiple-choice questions (per unit) relating to each subject. There are 4 mandatory units that you have to complete and then you can choose optional units from a list of 7 (a minimum of 2 units must be selected); this qualification is completed with EDI. Your training will be a mixture of observation and training at work where you will be seen by one of our assessors, plus time in the classroom where you will be trained to gain additional qualifications which will act as evidence towards your knowledge for your NVQ.
