Apprenticeships

Paignton Sec have Apprenticeships for all ages available.

While the apprentice is with you, your organisation is responsible for their Health and Safety as required by law. We therefore ask that:

Provision is made for the Health, Safety and Welfare of all employees, apprentices and trainees, as determined by the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 and all other legislation. With particular care where your young people are concerned.
To insure against damage, loss and injury, which may occur to property or persons in consequence of the performance of this agreement and in addition to insure the apprentice with policies of Employer Liability.
To immediately notify Paignton Sec Info Tech Training Centre Ltd of any accident, injury or dangerous occurrences to an apprentice.
To make available to Paignton Sec Info Tech Training Centre Ltd, Learning and Skills Council and Government Office, records relating to the training programme, and also to allow entry to officers of these organisations for monitoring purposes as required.
To complete the attendance records for the apprentice as required.
To treat the apprentice fairly where equal opportunities are concerned and as required.

Paignton Sec uses e-portfolio. This is an online assessment system that can be accessed 24/7.
